Chetter runs autonomous coding agents — OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, Niffler and friends — as ordinary jobs in Docker or Kubernetes.

The design brief was simple: no exotic Firecracker VMs, no lock-in to someone else hosting your agents, and no custom agent runtime. Chetter delegates execution to the harness CLIs that already exist, tracks live progress as streaming events, and drives everything from GitHub-native primitives: pull requests, issues, reviews and comments. On top of that sit cron triggers, webhooks and a full ConnectRPC API exposed as MCP tools.

  • Submit tasks to standard harnesses against Git repos, in containers.
  • Follow along with streaming events, logs and session transcripts.
  • Automate with cron triggers, generic webhooks and PR review hooks.
  • Pause and resume sessions on the same runner with follow-up prompts.
  • Observe and administer through a web UI, MCP tools and an audit log.
