OOPSLA 2007 - The CAT BOF
The second BOF I attended at OOPSLA
this year was about a new parser framework called CAT written in Squeak by
Jamie Douglass from Boeing. I
didn’t know Jamie before coming to OOPSLA, in fact I had never heard
of him :), obviously there are more Squeakers than we probably are aware
of.
I haven’t taken a closer look at CAT since it is not released yet - Jamie first needs to go through some "Boeing internal hoops". :) But it is interesting to note that both OMeta and CAT rely on PEGs and that there is AFAIK some exchange of ideas going on between Alessandro Warth and Jamie.
Anyway, without further ado I bring you one hour of tape as a 784Mb XviD torrent.
Enjoy!
